Rottnest Island Waste Water Pump Station

Civcon was contracted to undertake the design and construction of the civil services for the upgrade of the Waste Water Pump Station located in Longreach Bay on Rottnest Island, or Wadjemup. The project required strong project and stakeholder management with Rottnest Island Authority, Sage Automation for the integration of communications work into the existing communications system (WinCC), and several subcontractors.

Civcon were responsible for the mobilisation of all plant, equipment, vehicles and materials to and from Rottnest Island with minimal disruption to the island’s day to day operations.

Civcon’s project team ensured all design elements and construction methodologies were considered within Rottnest Island’s A-Class Reserve environmental protection regulations. All service infrastructure was constructed without any environmental or safety incidents.
